Tom was so excited about his promotion to Vice President of the company he worked for and kept bragging about it to his wife for weeks.
Finally she couldn't take it any longer, and told him, "Listen, it means nothing, they even have a vice president of peas at the grocery store!"
"Really?" he said. Not sure if this was true or not, Tom decided to call the grocery store.
A clerk answers and Tom says, "Can I please talk to the Vice President of peas?"
The clerk replies, "Canned or frozen?"
Listen, it means nothing.
Really?
Can I please talk to the Vice President?
Two men were digging a ditch (Π΄Π²ΠΎΠ΅ /Π»ΡΠ΄Π΅ΠΉ/ ΠΊΠΎΠΏΠ°Π»ΠΈ ΡΠΎΠ²) on a very hot day (ΠΎΡΠ΅Π½Ρ ΠΆΠ°ΡΠΊΠΈΠΌ Π΄Π½Π΅ΠΌ).
One said to the other (ΠΎΠ΄ΠΈΠ½ ΡΠΊΠ°Π·Π°Π» Π΄ΡΡΠ³ΠΎΠΌΡ), "Why are we down in this hole digging a ditch (ΠΏΠΎΡΠ΅ΠΌΡ ΠΌΡ Π²Π½ΠΈΠ·Ρ Π² ΡΡΠΎΠΉ Π΄ΡΡΠ΅, ΡΠΌΠ΅ ΠΊΠΎΠΏΠ°Π΅ΠΌ ΡΠΎΠ²) when our boss is standing up there in the shade of a tree? (ΠΊΠΎΠ³Π΄Π° Π½Π°Ρ Π½Π°ΡΠ°Π»ΡΠ½ΠΈΠΊ ΡΡΠΎΠΈΡ ΡΠ°ΠΌ Π½Π°Π²Π΅ΡΡ Ρ Π² ΡΠ΅Π½ΠΈ Π΄Π΅ΡΠ΅Π²Π°)"
"I don't know (Ρ Π½Π΅ Π·Π½Π°Ρ)," responded the other (ΠΎΡΠ²Π΅ΡΠΈΠ» Π΄ΡΡΠ³ΠΎΠΉ). "I'll ask him (Ρ ΡΠΏΡΠΎΡΡ Π΅Π³ΠΎ)."
So he climbed out of the hole (ΠΎΠ½ Π²ΡΠ»Π΅Π· ΠΈΠ· ΡΠΌΡ) and went to his boss (ΠΈ ΠΏΠΎΠ΄ΠΎΡΠ΅Π» ΠΊ Π½Π°ΡΠ°Π»ΡΠ½ΠΈΠΊΡ). "Why (ΠΏΠΎΡΠ΅ΠΌΡ) are we digging in the hot sun (Π½Π° ΠΆΠ°ΡΠΊΠΎΠΌ ΡΠΎΠ»Π½ΡΠ΅) and you're standing in the shade?"
"Intelligence (ΡΠΌΠ΅ΠΊΠ°Π»ΠΊΠ°; ΡΠΎΠΎΠ±ΡΠ°Π·ΠΈΡΠ΅Π»ΡΠ½ΠΎΡΡΡ /- Π²ΠΎΡ ΠΏΡΠΈΡΠΈΠ½Π°/)," the boss said.
"What do you mean, 'intelligence'? (ΡΡΠΎ Π²Ρ ΠΈΠΌΠ΅Π΅ΡΠ΅ Π² Π²ΠΈΠ΄Ρ, ΡΠΎΠΎΠ±ΡΠ°Π·ΠΈΡΠ΅Π»ΡΠ½ΠΎΡΡΡ)"
The boss said, "Well, I'll show you (Π½Ρ Π΄Π°Π²Π°ΠΉ, Ρ ΠΏΠΎΠΊΠ°ΠΆΡ ΡΠ΅Π±Π΅). I'll put my hand on this tree (Ρ ΠΏΠΎΠ»ΠΎΠΆΡ ΡΡΠΊΡ Π½Π° ΡΡΠΎ Π΄Π΅ΡΠ΅Π²ΠΎ) and I want you to hit it with your fist as hard as you can (Ρ Ρ ΠΎΡΡ, ΡΡΠΎΠ±Ρ ΡΡ ΡΠ΄Π°ΡΠΈΠ» ΠΏΠΎ Π½Π΅ΠΉ /ΡΠ²ΠΎΠΈΠΌ/ ΠΊΡΠ»Π°ΠΊΠΎΠΌ ΡΠ°ΠΊ ΡΠΈΠ»ΡΠ½ΠΎ, ΠΊΠ°ΠΊ ΠΌΠΎΠΆΠ΅ΡΡ)."
The ditch digger ("ΠΊΠΎΠΏΠ°Π»ΡΡΠΈΠΊ" ΡΠ²Π°) took a mighty swing (Π²Π·ΡΠ» ΠΌΠΎΡΠ½ΡΠΉ ΡΠ°Π·ΠΌΠ°Ρ /to take-took-taken/) and tried (ΠΏΠΎΠΏΡΡΠ°Π»ΡΡ) to hit the boss' hand. The boss removed (ΠΎΡΠΎΠ΄Π²ΠΈΠ½ΡΠ») his hand and the ditch digger hit the tree.
The boss said, "That's intelligence!"
The ditch digger went back (Π²Π΅ΡΠ½ΡΠ»ΡΡ /to go-went-gone/) to his hole. His friend (Π΄ΡΡΠ³) asked, "What did he say?"
