It is a white dog (это белая собачка). Its eyes are blue (ее глаза голубые). Its nose is a delicate red, with black spots (нос нежно-розовый, с черными крапинками; spot — пятнышко, крапинка). Its head is painfully erect (голова мучительно поднята = задрана как можно выше; erect — прямой, вертикальный; вертикально поднятый), its expression is amiability carried to verge of imbecility (ее выражение = своим видом она выражает дружелюбие, граничащее со слабоумием; to carry — /пере/носить, /пере/возить; доходить, достигать; verge — край, грань). I do not admire it myself (сам я ей не восхищаюсь).
