Мой давний друг Тэд Бонанно избавил меня от самой большой головной боли в создании любой книги — переговоров с издательством. Тэд — олимпийский тренер по гребле (недавно он ездил на олимпиаду в Сидней, а я три недели с радостью обходил спортзал стороной). Этот простой индикатор можно легко рассчитать для любой биржи. Он является лучшим показателем силы быков и медведей. Новые максимумы — это акции, достигшие наивысшего за год уровня, лидеры подъема. Новые минимумы — это акции, достигшие низшего за год уровня, то есть самые слабые. Сопоставляя эти показатели ежедневно, вы увидите, кто на рынке сильнее. Индикатор новых максимумов и новых минимумов указывает вам на действия лидеров рынка, а толпа обычно следует за ними.
